Since 2001, the JRY committee has had the opportunity to officially recognize over three hundred worthy and inspiring students who have overcome a personal challenge and have turned his or her life around to a more positive direction. Each year, one student per school in the Restigouche County (Anglophone and Francophone) is recognized. Students, teachers and family members are invited to partake in an awards ceremony where the recipient is honoured by JRY.
